Czech Air Force

The principal task of the Air Force is to secure the integrity of the Czech Republic's airspace. This mission is fulfilled within NATO Integrated Air and Missile Defence System (NATINAMDS), and, if necessary, by means of the national reinforced air defence system of the CR.

In addition, the Air Force provides close air support for the Land Forces, and is an official air transportation authority for Czech constitutional and governmental officials. It performs tasks associated with transportation of troops, material, human organs, and is part of the Czech Air Search and Rescue Service. Flies any tasks authorised by the Czech government.
